While growing up, Warren (Justin's dad) called his grandfather "Gampy"...so that is what he wants Owen to call him. I have to admit I have a hard time bringing my mouth to say "Gampy" and wasn't too fond of leaving out the "r". Gampy was Warren's favorite grandpa and they had a little tradition that he wanted to pass on with Owen. This visit Owen was taught the answers to the special questions that his "Gampy" asked..here's how the question/answer session goes:Gampy: "Do you love Gampy?"
Owen: "Yes"
Gampy: "How much?"
Owen: "Big as a house"
Gampy: "What kind of house?"
Owen: "Gampy's house"
It melted Warren's heart to hear Owen respond with the answers to his childhood tradition. We also celebrated Warren and Justin's birthdays during their visit. Owen showed Grammy a little volcano science project. Justin & I compared belly shots. Owen received more monster truck paraphernalia (truck & t-shirt) which he is well-deserving of for keepinh his boxer briefs clean and dry!!! Owen made a birthday card for Daddy with Grammy's help. We visited Meridian, MS where the azaleas and rhododendrons were in full bloom. Owen loved spending quality time with his Grammy & Grampy.
